ACL is making concerted efforts towards energy conservation and recycling to promote clean environment. ACL believes that environment aspects must be taken care of by the industries. The coke oven plant has been constructed with the latest non polluting technology and design in which practically all volatile hydrocarbons are burnt leaving a clean hot gas. It has been proposed that the burnt hot gases from coke ovens will soon be utilized for generation of power through waste heat recovery boilers.

As a result of environment friendly ovens, the stack emissions are far below the permissible limits.
